The Frank Lloyd Wright Hollyhock Mini Lightbox is adapted from the Hollyhock House - Wright’s first Los Angeles project. Built between 1919 and 1923 for oil heiress Aline Barnsdall, the house represents his earliest efforts to develop a regionally appropriate style of architecture for Southern California. At her request, abstracted hollyhocks were incorporated into the decorative program of the house, and stylized representations of the flower may be found on the roofline, walls, columns, planters and furniture.
Each of the four sides are lined in heat resistant shoji paper. Lightbox includes an inline on/off switch on an 8' cord and an LED candelabra base bulb.
